The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अयत्नोपनतं साधो प्रियेण सुहृदा सह ।
स्त्रीसुखं भोक्तुमिच्छामि मा मे विघ्नकरो भव ॥ ५ ॥

ayatnopanataṃ sādho priyeṇa suhṛdā saha |
strīsukhaṃ bhoktumicchāmi mā me vighnakaro bhava || 5 ||

So I choose you sir, as my husband, of all others in the three worlds: therefore be pleased to accept me for your wife every night.
