The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.101.23

वीतशोको निरायासो निःसङ्गोऽनन्य आत्मवान् ।
महोदयो मुनिर्मौनी स्वरूपे तिष्ठ निर्मले ॥ २३ ॥

vītaśoko nirāyāso niḥsaṅgo'nanya ātmavān |
mahodayo munirmaunī svarūpe tiṣṭha nirmale || 23 ||

Rest in the pure state of thy soul, by being devoid of cares and anxieties; forsaking all society and relying your soul in no body and in nothing here; and by your becoming as the devout and Divine and silent sage or saint or muni.
