The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्राणावपूरिता नाडीर्जीव आक्रामति स्फुरन् ॥ १२५ ॥

prāṇāvapūritā nāḍīrjīva ākrāmati sphuran || 125 ||

The living soul or vital spirit (which is as free as air), comes to be confined in the arterial chains of the prison houses of the different bodies; by its entering into the lungs breathing with the breath of life.
