The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.7.60

कल्पमात्रनिमेषेणोड्डीनाः कारणसारसाः ।
उत्पत्त्योत्पत्त्य नाशिन्यः संतप्ताः सृष्टिविद्युतः ॥ ६० ॥

kalpamātranimeṣeṇoḍḍīnāḥ kāraṇasārasāḥ |
utpattyotpattya nāśinyaḥ saṃtaptāḥ sṛṣṭividyutaḥ || 60 ||

It is at the will of God, that the creative powers rise and fly about as birds in the air; and it is by his will also, that the uprisen creation becomes extinct like the burning flash of the lightning.
