The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ये तेऽन्धकूपा गहना नरकास्ते रधूद्वह ।
कदलीकाननं यानि संप्रविष्टानि तानि तु ॥ १० ॥

ye te'ndhakūpā gahanā narakāste radhūdvaha |
kadalīkānanaṃ yāni saṃpraviṣṭāni tāni tu || 10 ||

Those deep and dark pits were no other than the pits of hell and the plantain groves of which I have told you, were the gardens of Paradise.
