The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वर्गैकरसिकानि त्वं मनांसि ज्ञातुमर्हसि ।
प्रविष्टान्यन्धकूपान्तर्निर्गतानि न यानि तु ॥ ११ ॥

svargaikarasikāni tvaṃ manāṃsi jñātumarhasi |
praviṣṭānyandhakūpāntarnirgatāni na yāni tu || 11 ||

Know these to be the seats of those minds which long for heavenly joys, and the dark pits to be the abode of hellish hearts, which can never get their release from those darksome dungeons.
