The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.29.56

ब्रह्माण्डाद्दशगुणतस्तोयं तत्र व्यवस्थितम् ।
आस्थितं वेष्टयित्वा तु त्वगिवाक्षोटपृष्ठगा ॥ ५६ ॥

brahmāṇḍāddaśaguṇatastoyaṃ tatra vyavasthitam |
āsthitaṃ veṣṭayitvā tu tvagivākṣoṭapṛṣṭhagā || 56 ||

They saw the watery expanse to be ten times greater than the earth, and enveloping it in the shape of the crust of the walnut fruit.
