ततोऽपि द्विगुणाकारं धारयन्त्योपवेष्टिताम् ।
नानाजनालंकृतया कुशाख्यद्वीपलेखया ॥ १७ ॥

tato'pi dviguṇākāraṃ dhārayantyopaveṣṭitām |
nānājanālaṃkṛtayā kuśākhyadvīpalekhayā || 17 ||

Beyond that and double its size is the Kusadwipa continent, which is full of population. It is also of the size of a circle, and surrounded by another sea.
