The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अविनाशिबृहत्तेजः क्वचिदर्कानलोपमम् ।
हिमानीजठराशीतं क्वचिच्चन्द्रादिसद्मसु ॥ ४४ ॥

avināśibṛhattejaḥ kvacidarkānalopamam |
himānījaṭharāśītaṃ kvaciccandrādisadmasu || 44 ||

There was a vast inextinguishable fire, like that of the blazing sun in one place; and a thickly frost covering the moonlight in another.
