The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.20.46

यथोत्पादं यथामातृ यथापितृ यथौरसम् ।
यथावयो यथासंविद्यथास्थानं यथेहितम् ॥ ४६ ॥

yathotpādaṃ yathāmātṛ yathāpitṛ yathaurasam |
yathāvayo yathāsaṃvidyathāsthānaṃ yathehitam || 46 ||

It remembers its birth, its parents, its age and its residence, with its learning and all other pursuits in their exact manner and order.
