The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चतुर्दशविधं भूतजालमावलितान्तरम् ।
जगज्जठरगर्तौघं प्रसरिष्यति वै ततः ॥ १७ ॥

caturdaśavidhaṃ bhūtajālamāvalitāntaram |
jagajjaṭharagartaughaṃ prasariṣyati vai tataḥ || 17 ||

The fourteen kinds of living beings, which fill the cells in the bowels of all worlds, sprang afterwards from this living soul.
