The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.1.41; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

साक्षात्कारो, यथा —
परमात्मतयातिमेदुराद्
बत साक्षात्-करण-प्रमोदतः ।
भगवन्न् अधिकं प्रयोजनं
कतरद् ब्रह्म-विदो’पि विद्यते ॥३.१.४१॥

sākṣātkāro, yathā —
paramātmatayātimedurād
bata sākṣāt-karaṇa-pramodataḥ
|
bhagavann adhikaṃ prayojanaṃ
katarad brahma-vido’pi vidyate
||3.1.41||

English translation

Seeing the Lord:
“O Bhagavān, because You are filled with more bliss than Brahman, being the Supreme Soul, and because I have experienced intense bliss from seeing You directly, what is the necessity of realizing the impersonal Brahman?”
