The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.221; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

हरिः पूर्णतमः पूर्णतरः पूर्ण इति त्रिधा ।
श्रेष्ठ-मध्यादिभिः शब्दैर् नाट्ये यः परिपठ्यते ॥२.१.२२१॥

hariḥ pūrṇatamaḥ pūrṇataraḥ pūrṇa iti tridhā |
śreṣṭha-madhyādibhiḥ śabdair nāṭye yaḥ paripaṭhyate
||2.1.221||

English translation

“The Lord takes three forms described as most perfect, more perfect and perfect. These are described in nāṭya-śāstra as best, medium and inferior.”
