The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.48; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यदृच्छया लब्धम् अपि विष्णोर् दाशरथेस् तु यः ।
नैच्छन् मोक्षं विना दास्यं तस्मै हनुमते नमः ॥१.२.४८॥

yadṛcchayā labdham api viṣṇor dāśarathes tu yaḥ |
naicchan mokṣaṃ vinā dāsyaṃ tasmai hanumate namaḥ ||1.2.48||

English translation

“I offer my respects to Hanumān, who did not want liberation, which Rāma could easily give, but instead wanted servitude.”
