स सूर्य॒: पर्यु॒रू वरां॒स्येन्द्रो॑ ववृत्या॒द्रथ्ये॑व च॒क्रा । अति॑ष्ठन्तमप॒स्यं१॒॑ न सर्गं॑ कृ॒ष्णा तमां॑सि॒ त्विष्या॑ जघान ॥
स सूर्यः पर्युरू वरांस्येन्द्रो ववृत्याद्रथ्येव चक्रा । अतिष्ठन्तमपस्यं न सर्गं कृष्णा तमांसि त्विष्या जघान ॥
sa sūryaḥ pary urū varāṃsy endro vavṛtyād rathyeva cakrā | atiṣṭhantam apasyaṃ na sargaṃ kṛṣṇā tamāṃsi tviṣyā jaghāna ||

English translation:

“The heroic Indra causes numerous rays of light revolve as a charioteer (effects the rotation of) thewheels of the chariot; he destroys by his radiance the black darkness like a restless active horse.”
