द्यावा॒ यम॒ग्निं पृ॑थि॒वी जनि॑ष्टा॒माप॒स्त्वष्टा॒ भृग॑वो॒ यं सहो॑भिः । ई॒ळेन्यं॑ प्रथ॒मं मा॑त॒रिश्वा॑ दे॒वास्त॑तक्षु॒र्मन॑वे॒ यज॑त्रम् ॥
द्यावा यमग्निं पृथिवी जनिष्टामापस्त्वष्टा भृगवो यं सहोभिः । ईळेन्यं प्रथमं मातरिश्वा देवास्ततक्षुर्मनवे यजत्रम् ॥
dyāvā yam agnim pṛthivī janiṣṭām āpas tvaṣṭā bhṛgavo yaṃ sahobhiḥ | īḻenyam prathamam mātariśvā devās tatakṣur manave yajatram ||
English translation:
“Agni, whom heaven and earth engendered, (whom) the waters and Tvaṣṭā, and the Bṛghus by theirpowers (begot),; the adorable one, whom Mātariśvan first, and the gods fabricated as the object of worship ofManu.”
