उज्जा॑यतां पर॒शुर्ज्योति॑षा स॒ह भू॒या ऋ॒तस्य॑ सु॒दुघा॑ पुराण॒वत् । वि रो॑चतामरु॒षो भा॒नुना॒ शुचि॒: स्व१॒॑र्ण शु॒क्रं शु॑शुचीत॒ सत्प॑तिः ॥
उज्जायतां परशुर्ज्योतिषा सह भूया ऋतस्य सुदुघा पुराणवत् । वि रोचतामरुषो भानुना शुचिः स्वर्ण शुक्रं शुशुचीत सत्पतिः ॥
uj jāyatām paraśur jyotiṣā saha bhūyā ṛtasya sudughā purāṇavat | vi rocatām aruṣo bhānunā śuciḥ svar ṇa śukraṃ śuśucīta satpatiḥ ||
English translation:
“Let the axe (of Indra) be put forth together with light; may the easily milked cow of truth be(manifested) as of old; may the pure and radiant Indra shine with splendour; may the lord of the virtuous shinebrightly like the sun.”
