धनं॒ न स्य॒न्द्रं ब॑हु॒लं यो अ॑स्मै ती॒व्रान्त्सोमाँ॑ आसु॒नोति॒ प्रय॑स्वान् । तस्मै॒ शत्रू॑न्त्सु॒तुका॑न्प्रा॒तरह्नो॒ नि स्वष्ट्रा॑न्यु॒वति॒ हन्ति॑ वृ॒त्रम् ॥
धनं न स्यन्द्रं बहुलं यो अस्मै तीव्रान्त्सोमाँ आसुनोति प्रयस्वान् । तस्मै शत्रून्त्सुतुकान्प्रातरह्नो नि स्वष्ट्रान्युवति हन्ति वृत्रम् ॥
dhanaṃ na syandram bahulaṃ yo asmai tīvrān somām̐ āsunoti prayasvān | tasmai śatrūn sutukān prātar ahno ni svaṣṭrān yuvati hanti vṛtram ||

English translation:

“The bearer of the oblation who offers to Indra the sharp Soma, like much moveable wealth (given tothe poor)-- for him in the fore part of the day Indra scatters his eager and well-armed (enemies), and defeats hisfoe.”
