Rig Veda 10.27.22

वृ॒क्षेवृ॑क्षे॒ निय॑ता मीमय॒द्गौस्ततो॒ वय॒: प्र प॑तान्पूरु॒षाद॑: । अथे॒दं विश्वं॒ भुव॑नं भयात॒ इन्द्रा॑य सु॒न्वदृष॑ये च॒ शिक्ष॑त् ॥
वृक्षेवृक्षे नियता मीमयद्गौस्ततो वयः प्र पतान्पूरुषादः । अथेदं विश्वं भुवनं भयात इन्द्राय सुन्वदृषये च शिक्षत् ॥
vṛkṣe-vṛkṣe niyatā mīmayad gaus tato vayaḥ pra patān pūruṣādaḥ | athedaṃ viśvam bhuvanam bhayāta indrāya sunvad ṛṣaye ca śikṣat ||

English translation:

“The bowstring fixed to each bow clangs loudly; then the man-destroying (shafts like) birds fall upon(the foes); and the whole of this world is alarmed, presentinglibations to Indra, and donations to the Ṛṣis.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Lit. :The cow lows attaached tree by tree (to different trees), the man-eating birds fly out from it (?from the tree)
