भवा॑ नो अग्नेऽवि॒तोत गो॒पा भवा॑ वय॒स्कृदु॒त नो॑ वयो॒धाः । रास्वा॑ च नः सुमहो ह॒व्यदा॑तिं॒ त्रास्वो॒त न॑स्त॒न्वो॒३॒॑ अप्र॑युच्छन् ॥
भवा नो अग्नेऽवितोत गोपा भवा वयस्कृदुत नो वयोधाः । रास्वा च नः सुमहो हव्यदातिं त्रास्वोत नस्तन्वो अप्रयुच्छन् ॥
bhavā no agne 'vitota gopā bhavā vayaskṛd uta no vayodhāḥ | rāsvā ca naḥ sumaho havyadātiṃ trāsvota nas tanvo aprayucchan ||

English translation:

“Be our protector, Agni, (in obvious peril); be our preserver (in unseen danger), be the provider andgiver of sustenance; bestow upon us, nightly Agni, the donation of oblations, and ever attentive, protect ourpersons.”
