रा॒तिं यद्वा॑मर॒क्षसं॒ हवा॑महे यु॒वाभ्यां॑ वाजिनीवसू । प्राचीं॒ होत्रां॑ प्रति॒रन्ता॑वितं नरा गृणा॒ना ज॒मद॑ग्निना ॥
रातिं यद्वामरक्षसं हवामहे युवाभ्यां वाजिनीवसू । प्राचीं होत्रां प्रतिरन्तावितं नरा गृणाना जमदग्निना ॥
rātiṃ yad vām arakṣasaṃ havāmahe yuvābhyāṃ vājinīvasū | prācīṃ hotrām pratirantāv itaṃ narā gṛṇānā jamadagninā ||
English translation:
“Deities rich in food, when we solicit your bounty, that (wealth) which demons cannot thwart-- then,helping our praise directed to the east, come, leaders of rites, worshipped by Jamadagni.”
