उद्वे॑ति प्रसवी॒ता जना॑नां म॒हान्के॒तुर॑र्ण॒वः सूर्य॑स्य । स॒मा॒नं च॒क्रं प॑र्या॒विवृ॑त्स॒न्यदे॑त॒शो वह॑ति धू॒र्षु यु॒क्तः ॥
उद्वेति प्रसवीता जनानां महान्केतुरर्णवः सूर्यस्य । समानं चक्रं पर्याविवृत्सन्यदेतशो वहति धूर्षु युक्तः ॥
ud v eti prasavītā janānām mahān ketur arṇavaḥ sūryasya | samānaṃ cakram paryāvivṛtsan yad etaśo vahati dhūrṣu yuktaḥ ||
English translation:
“The animator of men arises, the great rain-shedding banner of Sūrya rolling on the universal wheel,which the white steeds yoked to his car drag along.”

Great rain-shedding: mahān ketur arṇavaḥ sūryasya, thebanner or emblem of Sūrya is Sūrya;
