प्र बा॒हवा॑ सिसृतं जी॒वसे॑ न॒ आ नो॒ गव्यू॑तिमुक्षतं घृ॒तेन॑ । आ नो॒ जने॑ श्रवयतं युवाना श्रु॒तं मे॑ मित्रावरुणा॒ हवे॒मा ॥
प्र बाहवा सिसृतं जीवसे न आ नो गव्यूतिमुक्षतं घृतेन । आ नो जने श्रवयतं युवाना श्रुतं मे मित्रावरुणा हवेमा ॥
pra bāhavā sisṛtaṃ jīvase na ā no gavyūtim ukṣataṃ ghṛtena | ā no jane śravayataṃ yuvānā śrutam me mitrāvaruṇā havemā ||
English translation:
“Stretch forth your arms for the prolongation of our existence, bedew with water the pastures of ourcattle, render us honoured among men; ever youthful Mitra and Varuṇa, hear these my invocations.”
