ए॒वेन्द्रा॒ग्निभ्या॒महा॑वि ह॒व्यं शू॒ष्यं॑ घृ॒तं न पू॒तमद्रि॑भिः । ता सू॒रिषु॒ श्रवो॑ बृ॒हद्र॒यिं गृ॒णत्सु॑ दिधृत॒मिषं॑ गृ॒णत्सु॑ दिधृतम् ॥
एवेन्द्राग्निभ्यामहावि हव्यं शूष्यं घृतं न पूतमद्रिभिः । ता सूरिषु श्रवो बृहद्रयिं गृणत्सु दिधृतमिषं गृणत्सु दिधृतम् ॥
evendrāgnibhyām ahāvi havyaṃ śūṣyaṃ ghṛtaṃ na pūtam adribhiḥ | tā sūriṣu śravo bṛhad rayiṃ gṛṇatsu didhṛtam iṣaṃ gṛṇatsu didhṛtam ||
English translation:
“The invigorating oblation has been offered, like the Soma-juice expressed by the sounding stones; do you bestow food uponthe pious; great riches upon those who praise you; bestow food also upon those who praise you.”
Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
Like the Soma juice expressed: ghṛtam na pūtam adribhiḥ: mention of the stones restricts the sense of ghṛtam to the Soma effusion
