म॒रुत्व॑तो॒ अप्र॑तीतस्य जि॒ष्णोरजू॑र्यत॒: प्र ब्र॑वामा कृ॒तानि॑ । न ते॒ पूर्वे॑ मघव॒न्नाप॑रासो॒ न वी॒र्यं१॒॑ नूत॑न॒: कश्च॒नाप॑ ॥
मरुत्वतो अप्रतीतस्य जिष्णोरजूर्यतः प्र ब्रवामा कृतानि । न ते पूर्वे मघवन्नापरासो न वीर्यं नूतनः कश्चनाप ॥
marutvato apratītasya jiṣṇor ajūryataḥ pra bravāmā kṛtāni | na te pūrve maghavan nāparāso na vīryaṃ nūtanaḥ kaś canāpa ||

English translation:

“We celebrate the exploits of Marutvat, the unrecoiling, the victorious, the undecaying; neither the ancients, Maghavan, nor their successors, have attained your prowess, nor has any one recent attained it.”
