वि यो र॑र॒प्श ऋषि॑भि॒र्नवे॑भिर्वृ॒क्षो न प॒क्वः सृण्यो॒ न जेता॑ । मर्यो॒ न योषा॑म॒भि मन्य॑मा॒नोऽच्छा॑ विवक्मि पुरुहू॒तमिन्द्र॑म् ॥
वि यो ररप्श ऋषिभिर्नवेभिर्वृक्षो न पक्वः सृण्यो न जेता । मर्यो न योषामभि मन्यमानोऽच्छा विवक्मि पुरुहूतमिन्द्रम् ॥
vi yo rarapśa ṛṣibhir navebhir vṛkṣo na pakvaḥ sṛṇyo na jetā | maryo na yoṣām abhi manyamāno 'cchā vivakmi puruhūtam indram ||
English translation:
“Like a man boasting of his wife, I glorify that Indra who is invoked of many, who is hymned by recent sages (who is) like a tree with ripe fruit, like a victorious (warrior), skilful in arms.”
