अधा॑कृणोः प्रथ॒मं वी॒र्यं॑ म॒हद्यद॒स्याग्रे॒ ब्रह्म॑णा॒ शुष्म॒मैर॑यः । र॒थे॒ष्ठेन॒ हर्य॑श्वेन॒ विच्यु॑ता॒: प्र जी॒रय॑: सिस्रते स॒ध्र्य१॒॑क्पृथ॑क् ॥
अधाकृणोः प्रथमं वीर्यं महद्यदस्याग्रे ब्रह्मणा शुष्ममैरयः । रथेष्ठेन हर्यश्वेन विच्युताः प्र जीरयः सिस्रते सध्र्यक्पृथक् ॥
adhākṛṇoḥ prathamaṃ vīryam mahad yad asyāgre brahmaṇā śuṣmam airayaḥ | ratheṣṭhena haryaśvena vicyutāḥ pra jīrayaḥ sisrate sadhryak pṛthak ||

English translation:

“Verily, Indra, you have displayed your first great prowess, when, (propitiated) by the prayer (of the worshipper), you have put forth your withering (vigour) in his presence; and when the congregated enemies (of the gods), hurled down by you in youur chariot, drawn by your horses, fled, scattered.”
