त्वं ह॒ त्यदि॑न्द्र स॒प्त युध्य॒न्पुरो॑ वज्रिन्पुरु॒कुत्सा॑य दर्दः । ब॒र्हिर्न यत्सु॒दासे॒ वृथा॒ वर्गं॒हो रा॑ज॒न्वरि॑वः पू॒रवे॑ कः ॥
त्वं ह त्यदिन्द्र सप्त युध्यन्पुरो वज्रिन्पुरुकुत्साय दर्दः । बर्हिर्न यत्सुदासे वृथा वर्गंहो राजन्वरिवः पूरवे कः ॥
tvaṃ ha tyad indra sapta yudhyan puro vajrin purukutsāya dardaḥ | barhir na yat sudāse vṛthā varg aṃho rājan varivaḥ pūrave kaḥ ||
English translation:
“Indra, wielder of the thunderbolt, warring on behalf of Purukutsa, you did overturn the seven cities; you did cut off for Sudāsa wealth of Aṅhas, as if (it had been a tuft) of sacred grass, and did give it to him, O king, ever satiating you (with oblations).”
