तस्मादहमुपश्रुत्य प्रवक्ष्यामि यथातथम् ।
इदमास्तीकमाख्यानं तुभ्यं शौनक पृच्छते ॥ ८ ॥
tasmādahamupaśrutya pravakṣyāmi yathātatham |
idamāstīkamākhyānaṃ tubhyaṃ śaunaka pṛcchate || 8 ||
