Consisting of 18 books, the Mahabharata details the history and legends concerning ancient India (Bharata), including a major battle campaign involving the Kauravas and the Pandavas, also known as the Kurukshetra War. ते त्वरध्वं यथा शूराः शराणां मोक्षणे भृशम् ।
यथा तूर्णं व्रजत्येष परलोकाय माधवः ॥ ५८ ॥

te tvaradhvaṃ yathā śūrāḥ śarāṇāṃ mokṣaṇe bhṛśam |
yathā tūrṇaṃ vrajatyeṣa paralokāya mādhavaḥ || 58 ||
