दृश्ट्वा तं च मृतः पापी
जगद्-वध-करो ऽपि हि
छिनत्ति पाप-पटलं
परं मोक्शं प्रयाति हि
dṛśṭvā taṃ ca mṛtaḥ pāpī
jagad-vadha-karo 'pi hi
chinatti pāpa-paṭalaṃ
paraṃ mokśaṃ prayāti hi
dṛśṭvā—seeing; tam—him; ca—and; mṛtaḥ—dead; pāpī—sinner; jagad-vadha- karaḥ—who has murdered the entire world; api—even; hi—indeed; chinatti— breaks; pāpa-paṭalam—a host of sins; param—supreme; mokśam—liberation; prayāti—attains; hi—indeed.
English translation of verse 6.14.5:
By seeing him even a sinner who by killing everyone in the world has become like a walking corpse becomes free of sin and attains liberation.
