The Garga-samhita Verse 5.24.14, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 24 (The Killing of the Kola Demon) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

योद्धुं समागतं रामं
श्रुत्वा कोलो ऽपि निर्गतः
अक्षौहिणीभिर् दशाभिर्
मण्डितश् चण्ड-विक्रमः

yoddhuṃ samāgataṃ rāmaṃ
śrutvā kolo 'pi nirgataḥ
akṣauhiṇībhir daśābhir
maṇḍitaś caṇḍa-vikramaḥ

yoddhum—to fight; samāgatam—come; rāmam—Balarāma; śrutvāhearing; kolaḥKola; api—also; nirgataḥ—went; akṣauhiṇībhiḥ—with aksauhinis; daśābhiḥ—ten; maṇḍitaḥ—decorated; caṇḍa-vikramaḥferocious.

English translation of verse 5.24.14:

Hearing that Lord Balarāma had come to fight, ferocious Kola, decorated with ten akṣauhiṇī divisions, went to meet Him.
