श्री-नारद उवाच
इति श्रुत्वा वचस् तेषां
श्री-रामो भक्त-वत्सलः
गङ्गा-यमुनयोर् मध्ये
कौशाम्बीं नगरीं ययौ

śrī-nārada uvāca
iti śrutvā vacas teṣāṃ
śrī-rāmo bhakta-vatsalaḥ
gaṅgā-yamunayor madhye
kauśāmbīṃ nagarīṃ yayau

śrī-nārada uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; iti—thus; śrutvāhearing; vacaḥ—words; teṣām—of them; śrī-rāmaḥ—Śrī Balarāma; bhaktadevotees; vatsalaḥ—loves; gaṅgā-yamunayoḥ—of the Gaṅgā and Yamunā; madhye—between; kauśāmbīm—Kausambi; nagarīm—City; yayau—went.

English translation of verse 5.24.13:

Śrī Nārada said: After hearing these words, Lord Balarāma, who loves His devotees, went to Kauśāravi City in the land between the Gaṅgā and the Yamunā.
