The Garga-samhita Verse 5.11.5, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 11 (The Stories of Kubja and Kuvalayapida) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

छिन्न-नासा गता लङ्कां
रवनाय न्यवेदयत्
भूयः पुष्कर-तीर्थे सा
जगाम विमना भृशम्

chinna-nāsā gatā laṅkāṃ
ravanāya nyavedayat
bhūyaḥ puṣkara-tīrthe sā
jagāma vimanā bhṛśam

chinna-nāsācut away nose; gatā—attained; laṅkām—to Lanka; ravanāya—for Ravana; nyavedayat—informed; bhūyaḥ—greatly; puṣkara-tīrthe—at Puskara-tirtha; sa—she; jagāma—went; vimanādisconsolate; bhṛśam—very.

English translation of verse 5.11.5:

Her nose cut away, she went to Laṅkā and told Rāvaṇa what had happened.

Then, unhappy at heart, she went to Puṣkara-tīrtha.
