The Garga-samhita Verse 5.11.4, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 11 (The Stories of Kubja and Kuvalayapida) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

खड्गेन शित-धारेण
लक्ष्मणो राघवानुजः
जहार तस्याः कर्णौ च
नासं सद्यो रुषान्वितः

khaḍgena śita-dhāreṇa
lakṣmaṇo rāghavānujaḥ
jahāra tasyāḥ karṇau ca
nāsaṃ sadyo ruṣānvitaḥ

khaḍgena—with a sword; śita-dhāreṇa—with a sharp edge; lakṣmaṇaḥLakṣmaṇa; rāghavānujaḥ—Lord Rāma's younger brother; jahāra—took; tasyāḥ—of her; karṇau—the ears; ca—and; nāsam—nose; sadyaḥ—at once; ruṣānvitaḥ—angry.

English translation of verse 5.11.4:

At this Lord Rāma's younger brother Lakṣmaṇa became angry and with a sharp-edged sword quickly cut away her ears and nose.
