The Garga-samhita Verse 5.8.44, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 8 (The Killing of Kamsa) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

देव-दुन्दुभयो नेदुर्
जय-ध्वनिर् अभूत् तदा
सद्यो वै ववृषुर् देवाः
पुष्पैर् नन्दन-सम्भवैः

deva-dundubhayo nedur
jaya-dhvanir abhūt tadā
sadyo vai vavṛṣur devāḥ
puṣpair nandana-sambhavaiḥ

deva-dundubhayaḥ—the dundubhis of the demigods; neduḥ—sounded; jaya-dhvaniḥwith sounds of jaya; abhūt—was; tadāthen; sadyaḥ—at once; vai—indeed; vavṛṣuḥ—showered; devāḥthe demigods; puṣpaiḥ—with flowers; nandana-sambhavaiḥ—grown in the Nandana gardens.

English translation of verse 5.8.44:

Suddenly the dundubhi drums of the demigods sounded and the demigods showered flowers from the Nandana gardens.
