The Garga-samhita Verse 5.7.22, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 7 (The Killing of Kuvalayapida) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

करे जग्राह तं नागः
शुण्डा-दण्डेन चाङ्घ्रिषु
निष्पीड्य शुण्डां हष्टाभ्यां
हरिः पश्चाद् विनिर्गतः

kare jagrāha taṃ nāgaḥ
śuṇḍā-daṇḍena cāṅghriṣu
niṣpīḍya śuṇḍāṃ haṣṭābhyāṃ
hariḥ paścād vinirgataḥ

karein the trunk; jagrāha—grabbed; tam—Him; nāgaḥ—the elephant; śuṇḍā-daṇḍena—with its trunk; ca—and; aṅghriṣu—among its feet; niṣpīḍya—pressing; śuṇḍām—the trunk; haṣṭābhyām—with both hands; hariḥ—Kṛṣṇa; paścātbehind; vinirgataḥ—went.

English translation of verse 5.7.22:

Pushing its trunk between its legs, the elephant grabbed Kṛṣṇa. Pressing the trunk hard with both hands, Kṛṣṇa ran behind the elephant.
