The Garga-samhita Verse 5.7.21, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 7 (The Killing of Kuvalayapida) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

तत्-पादेषु विलीनो ऽभूत्
प्रभ्रमन् सन्न् इतस् ततः
वृन्दावन-निकुञ्जेषु
वृक्षेषु च यथा हरिः

tat-pādeṣu vilīno 'bhūt
prabhraman sann itas tataḥ
vṛndāvana-nikuñjeṣu
vṛkṣeṣu ca yathā hariḥ

tat-pādeṣu—among its feet; vilīnaḥhiding; abhūt—was; prabhraman—wandering; sann—was; itaḥ—here; tataḥand there; vṛndāvana-nikuñjeṣu—in the forests of Vṛndāvana; vṛkṣeṣu—among the trees; ca—and; yathā—as; hariḥ—Kṛṣṇa.

English translation of verse 5.7.21:

As He used to do among the trees in Vṛndāvana's forests, Kṛṣṇa, quickly going here and there, played hide-and-seek behind the elephant's legs.
