भार्गवेन पुरा दत्तं
यदु-राजाय माधवः
ददर्श कुण्डली-भूतं
साक्षाच् छेषम् इव स्थितम्
bhārgavena purā dattaṃ
yadu-rājāya mādhavaḥ
dadarśa kuṇḍalī-bhūtaṃ
sākṣāc cheṣam iva sthitam
bhārgavena-by Paraśurāma; purā—previously; dattam—given; yadu-rājāya—to the king of the Yādavas; mādhavaḥ—Kṛṣṇa; dadarśa—saw; kuṇḍalī-bhūtam—coiled around; sākṣāc—directky; śeṣam——Lord Śeṣa; iva—like; sthitam—situated.
English translation of verse 5.6.29:
Long ago Lord Paraśurāma gave this bow to King Kaṃsa. Lord Kṛṣṇa looked at the bow and thought it was like Lord Śeṣa, His coils wound around and around.
