वर्यमानो नृभिः कृष्णः
प्रसह्य धनुर् आददे
पश्यतां तत्र पौराणां
सज्जं कृत्वाथ लीलया
varyamāno nṛbhiḥ kṛṣṇaḥ
prasahya dhanur ādade
paśyatāṃ tatra paurāṇāṃ
sajjaṃ kṛtvātha līlayā
varyamānaḥ—stopped; nṛbhiḥ—by the people; kṛṣṇaḥ—Kṛṣṇa; prasahya—overcoming; dhanuḥ—the bow; ādade—took; paśyatām—watching; tatra—there; paurāṇām—by the people of the city; sajjam—stringing; kṛtvā—doing; atha—then; līlayā—playfully.
English translation of verse 5.6.30:
Overcoming the people's attempt to stop Him, Lord Kṛṣṇa picked up the bow.
As the people of the city watched, He easily strung it.
