प्रेक्षन् छ्री-मथुरां कृष्णो
धनिनां मन्दिराणि च
पश्यन् गोपालकैः सार्धं
राज-मार्गं विवेश ह
prekṣan chrī-mathurāṃ kṛṣṇo
dhanināṃ mandirāṇi ca
paśyan gopālakaiḥ sārdhaṃ
rāja-mārgaṃ viveśa ha
prekṣan—looking; śrī-mathurām—at Śrī Mathurā; kṛṣṇaḥ—Kṛṣṇa; dhaninām—of the wealthy; mandirāṇi—the mansions; ca—and; paśyan—seeing; gopālakaiḥ—the gopas; sārdham—with; rāja-mārgam—the royal road; viveśa—entered; ha—indeed.
English translation of verse 5.5.27:
As they gazed at the palaces of the wealthy and the other opulences of Mathurā, Kṛṣṇa and the gopas started to walk on the king's road.
