The Garga-samhita Verse 5.5.8, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 5 (Shri Krishna’s Entrance Into Mathura) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

ज्ञात्वा कृष्णं परं ब्रह्म
नत्वा नत्वा पुनः पुनः
कृताञ्जलि-पुटो ऽक्रूरः
स्तुतिं चक्रे ऽति-हर्षितः

jñātvā kṛṣṇaṃ paraṃ brahma
natvā natvā punaḥ punaḥ
kṛtāñjali-puṭo 'krūraḥ
stutiṃ cakre 'ti-harṣitaḥ

jñātvāunderstanding; kṛṣṇam—Lord Kṛṣṇa; param—the Supreme; brahmaBrahman; natvā—bowing; natvā—and bowing; punaḥ—again; punaḥ—and again; kṛtāñjali-puṭaḥwith folded hands; akrūraḥAkrūra; stutim—prayers; cakre—did; ati-harṣitaḥ—jubilant.

English translation of verse 5.5.8:

Aware that Śrī Kṛṣṇa is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Akrūra bowed down again and again and again. Filled with joy, he folded his hands and spoke many prayers.
