The Garga-samhita Verse 5.1.25, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 1 (Advice to Kamsa) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

एते मित्राणि मे सन्ति
मद्-अर्थं प्राणदा बलात्
श्वशुरो ऽपि जरासन्धो
द्विविडो मे सखा स्मृतः

ete mitrāṇi me santi
mad-arthaṃ prāṇadā balāt
śvaśuro 'pi jarāsandho
dviviḍo me sakhā smṛtaḥ

ete—they; mitrāṇi—friends; me—my; santiare; mad-arthamfor my sake; prāṇadāgiving their lives; balāt—forcibly; śvaśuraḥ—father-in-law; api—even; jarāsandhaḥJarāsandha; dviviḍaḥ—Dviviḍo; me—my; sakhāfriend; smṛtaḥ—is considered.

English translation of verse 5.1.25:

They are all my friends. They would give up their lives for my sake. Jarāsandha is my father-in-law. Dviviḍa is also my friend.
