श्रि-नारद उवाच इति प्रसन्नो भगवान् नन्दम् नित्वा सु-जिवितम् सौख्यम् प्रकाचयन् बन्धुन् व्रज-मण्डलम् आययौ

śri-nārada uvāca iti prasanno bhagavān nandam nitvā su-jivitam saukhyam prakācayan bandhun vraja-maṇḍalam āyayau

śri-nārada uvāca—Sri Nārada said; iti—thus; prasannaḥpleased; bhagavānthe Lord; nandam—Nanda; nitvā—taking; su-jivitam—alive; saukhyam—happiness; prakācayan—showing; bandhun—to friends; vraja-maṇḍalam—to the circle of Vraja; āyayau—went.

English translation of verse 4.22.8:

Sri Nārada said: Pleased, and clearly showing His happiness, Lord Krsna took Nanda back to the circle of Vraja.
