तासां वासांसि सन्नीय
भगवान् प्रातर् आगतः
त्वरं कदम्बम् आरुह्य
चौरवन् मौनम् अष्ठितः

tāsāṃ vāsāṃsi sannīya
bhagavān prātar āgataḥ
tvaraṃ kadambam āruhya
cauravan maunam aṣṭhitaḥ

tāsām—of them; vāsāṃsi—the garments; sannīya—taking; bhagavānthe Lord; prātaḥin the morning; āgataḥcome; tvaram—quickly; kadambam—a kadamba tree; āruhya—climbing; cauravat—like a thief; maunam aṣṭhitaḥ—silent.

English translation of verse 4.3.6:

Coming there that morning, Lord Kṛṣṇa silently stole their garments and climbed a kadamba tree.
