The Garga-samhita Verse 4.1.39, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. श्री-नारद उवाच
इति श्रुत्वा वचो गोप्यो
नत्वा तं मुनि-पुङ्गवम्
यमुनाम् एत्य मुन्य्-उक्तं
चोक्त्वा तीर्त्वा नदीं नृप

śrī-nārada uvāca
iti śrutvā vaco gopyo
natvā taṃ muni-puṅgavam
yamunām etya muny-uktaṃ
coktvā tīrtvā nadīṃ nṛpa

śrī-nārada uvāca—Srī Nārada said; iti—thus; śrutvāhearing; vacaḥthe words; gopyaḥthe gopīs; natvā—bowing; tam—to him; muni-puṅgavam—the great sage; yamunām—to the Yamunā; etyagoing; muny-uktam—the sage's words; ca—and; uktvā—saying; tirtvā—crossing; nadīm—the river; nṛpaO king.

English translation of verse 4.1.39:

Srī Nārada said: O king, hearing these words, the gopīs bowed down before the great sage, went to the Yamunā, repeated the sage's words, and easily crossed the river.
