The Garga-samhita Verse 3.4.13, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 3 of Chapter 4 (The Coronation-Bathing of Shri Krishna) of Canto 3 (giriraja-khanda).

तत् तीर्थं च परं भूतं
नराणां पाप-नाशनम्
तद् एव पद-चिह्नं स्यात्
तत् तीर्थं विद्धि मैथिल

tat tīrthaṃ ca paraṃ bhūtaṃ
narāṇāṃ pāpa-nāśanam
tad eva pada-cihnaṃ syāt
tat tīrthaṃ viddhi maithila

tat—that; tīrtham—holy place; ca—and; param—great; bhūtam—become; narāṇām—of human beings; pāpa-nāśanam—destroying sins; tat—that; eva—indeed; pada-cihnam—footprint; syāt—is; tat—that; tīrtham—holy place; viddhi—know; maithilaO king of Mithilā.

English translation of verse 3.4.13:

O king of Mithilā, know that the footprints Kṛṣṇa left there are a great holy place that destroys the people's sins.
