The Garga-samhita Verse 2.16.11, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 16 (The Worship of Tulasi) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

सर्व-पाप-हरं पुण्यं
कामदं तुलसी-वनम्
रोपयन्ति नराः श्रेष्ठास्
ते न पश्यन्ति भास्करिम्

sarva-pāpa-haraṃ puṇyaṃ
kāmadaṃ tulasī-vanam
ropayanti narāḥ śreṣṭhās
te na paśyanti bhāskarim

sarvaall; pāpasins; haram—removing; puṇyam—sacred; kāmadam—fulfilling desires; tulasīTulasī; vanam—forest; ropayanti—plants; narāḥ—people; śreṣṭhāḥ—the best; te—they; na—not; paśyantisee; bhāskarim—Yamarāja.

English translation of verse 2.16.11:

They who plant a sacred Tulasī forest, which fulfills desires and removes all sins, are the best of people. They will never see Yamarāja.
