The Garga-samhita Verse 1.19.15, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 19 (Breaking of the Two Arjuna Trees) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

तत्-तटे च महा-वृक्षौ
पुराणौ यमलार्जुनौ
तयोर् मध्ये गतः कृष्णो
हसन् दामोदरः प्रभुः

tat-taṭe ca mahā-vṛkṣau
purāṇau yamalārjunau
tayor madhye gataḥ kṛṣṇo
hasan dāmodaraḥ prabhuḥ

tat-taṭe—on its shore; ca—also; mahā-vṛkṣau—two great trees; purāṇau—old; yamalatwin; arjunau—arjuna trees; tayoḥ—of them; madhye—in the middle; gataḥ—gone; kṛṣṇaḥKṛṣṇa; hasan—smiling; dāmodaraḥ—His belly bound by a rope; prabhuḥ—the Lord.

English translation of verse 1.19.15:

His belly bound with a rope, smiling Lord Kṛṣṇa wandered between two great old arjuna trees by the Yamunā's shore.
