The Garga-samhita Verse 1.19.7, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 19 (Breaking of the Two Arjuna Trees) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

तथापि भक्तेषु च भक्त-वश्यता
प्रदर्शिता श्री-हरिणा नृपेश्वर
बालं गृहीत्वा स्व-सुतं यशोमती
बबन्ध रज्ज्वाथ रुषा ह्य् उलूखले

tathāpi bhakteṣu ca bhakta-vaśyatā
pradarśitā śrī-hariṇā nṛpeśvara
bālaṃ gṛhītvā sva-sutaṃ yaśomatī
babandha rajjvātha ruṣā hy ulūkhale

tathāpi—nevertheless; bhakteṣu—among the devotees; ca—also; bhaktaby the devotees; vaśyatā—control; pradarśitā—revealed; śrī-hariṇā—by Lord Hari; nṛpa-īśvaraO king of kings; bālam—the boy; gṛhītvāgrasping; sva-sutam—her own son; yaśomatī—Yaśodā; babandha—bound; rajjvā—with rope; athathen; ruṣāangrily; hi—indeed; ulūkhale—to the grinding mortar.

English translation of verse 1.19.7:

O king of kings, then Lord Hari showed that He places Himself under the control of His devotees. Yaśodā caught her son and angrily tied Him with rope to the grinding mortar.
